About World Wonders 3D
World Wonders 3D is a trip through time to twelve of the most amazing things people have built: the Great Pyramid of Giza, Stonehenge, the Parthenon, the Colosseum, the Great Wall of China, Chichen Itza, the moai of Easter Island, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Taj Mahal, Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower and the Sydney Opera House. Each is a little 3D model you can spin with your finger.
Six journeys ask about them in different ways: what is this wonder called, which country is it in, tap the wonder from a clue (the one with 365 steps, the one that was only meant to stand for 20 years), tap the older of two, and put three in order from oldest to newest, which builds a sense of how long ago 4,500 years really is. Every wonder you get right the first time sends you a postcard with its country, its age and three facts.
With red-green, red-blue or red-cyan 3D glasses the buildings stand up out of the screen; it plays in colour without them. A checking script makes sure every answer is right, that clues never give the name away, and that wonders compared in time are far enough apart for the question to be fair.
