About Word Pop
Sight words are the little words that show up again and again in every book, like the, said, was and because. Reading them in a flash makes reading much easier. The Dolch list has 220 of them, in five levels from pre-primer (about age 4 or 5) to third grade.
Press Hear it and listen, then pop the bubble that says the word. If you pick the wrong one, the game tells you what that bubble says and repeats the word. Each set has about 8 words and 10 bubbles to pop; finish with no more than one mistake for three stars. No sound on your device? The word flashes on screen first instead.
Every finished set brings a new animal to your zoo. Finish a whole level to open its spelling challenge, where you hear a word and tap its letters in order, and the next level of words.
