About Word Pairs 3D
Word Pairs 3D is a word-matching game in three dimensions. Twelve cubes, each with a word, float in a slowly turning cluster. The rule at the top says how words pair up, and you tap two cubes that belong together. Some cubes hide behind others, so you drag to turn the cluster and look round the back.
Each level teaches one kind of word link. Compound words join to make a new word: butter + fly, tooth + brush, rain + coat. Rhymes end with the same sound: snail, tail and whale. Opposites mean the reverse: push and pull. Synonyms mean the same: shout and yell. The last two levels mix the rules. Every round is built so that each word has exactly one partner, so a right answer is never marked wrong, and every pair you find is kept in your word list.
With red-green, red-blue or red-cyan 3D glasses the cubes float at different depths in front of you; it plays in colour without them. A checking script builds thousands of rounds and makes sure no word could pair with two others, even counting extra compound words like footnote that the game never asks for.
Best for ages 6–11
