About Word Forge
Word Forge is a word wheel game. A few letters sit around a wheel, and you slide your finger from letter to letter to spell a word, then let go. If it is one of the hidden words, it fills in its boxes at the top. Find them all to finish the level. One hidden word always uses every letter on the wheel, so look out for it!
There are 40 levels in three chapters: five-letter wheels like TIGER and PLANT, six-letter wheels like CASTLE and GARDEN, and seven-letter wheels like DOLPHIN, RAINBOW and HOLIDAY with up to 16 words to find. Any other real word you spell counts as a bonus word and earns a coin. Coins buy hints, which show one letter, and new colours for the wheel.
The hidden words come from a list of the 10,000 most common English words, and every word in the game was checked by a robot: names, abbreviations, rude words and words that are not right for children are never hidden words and never earn a reward. It also checked that every hidden word can really be made from the wheel and that each level has a word that uses all the letters.
