About Type Chef
Type Chef turns typing practice into a busy café. Customers sit at the counter with an order such as a sandwich (bread, ham, cheese) or a smoothie (banana, milk, honey). Type each ingredient and it pops straight into the order that needs it, with no need to press Enter. When every ingredient is cooked, the customer is served and pays.
Each customer has a green patience bar that slowly runs down, so you have to type steadily and accurately. If you type a letter nobody needs, the box turns red and you fix it with backspace. The orange outline shows who has waited longest, and quick service earns bigger tips. Serve half the customers to pass a day, 70% for two stars and 90% for three.
Eight café days add new dishes and busier crowds, from pancakes and soup on Opening day to a whole festival menu on Head chef. Coins buy decorations for your café, from a plant and a painting to a café cat and a golden sign. It builds real typing speed and spelling with short, everyday words.
