About Turbo Karts
Turbo Karts is a top-down go-kart racing game. Your kart speeds up by itself, so all you do is steer: hold the left or right arrow buttons, or touch the left or right side of the screen. Stay on the grey road, because the grass slows you right down. Grab the gold coins and the blue nitro cans on the way, then press the flame button for a burst of speed. Orange arrows on the road give you a free boost.
Each race is three laps against Zip, Dash and Bolt. Finish in the top three to open the next track, and win all four tracks of a cup to take the trophy and unlock new kart colours. Your prize money and the coins you pick up go to the garage, where you can upgrade the engine for more speed, the tyres for sharper turns and less slowing on grass, and the booster for longer boosts. The Silver and Gold drivers have upgraded karts too, so the garage really matters.
A robot raced every track: every corner is wide enough for even the fastest kart to get round without brakes, every driver finishes, and a good driver wins each track with the upgrades you can expect by then. Easy steering gently keeps your kart on the road when you are not steering, and you can switch it off when you are ready.
