About Story Detective
Story Detective is a reading comprehension game. Read a short story, then answer four questions about it: who, what, where, why and how. Good detectives check the evidence, so the Look back button opens the story again, and after a wrong answer it lights up the sentence that holds the clue.
There are 12 original stories in three case files. Short Cases are a few sentences long; Bigger Mysteries and Super Sleuth have longer stories and questions that ask you to think, like why a character did something or how they felt. Tap Read to me to hear the story read aloud, with each sentence lit up as it is read.
Every case you solve wins a detective badge. Your progress is saved on this device.
