About State Quest
State Quest teaches the 50 states of the USA on a real map. Start with the Northeast: the map zooms in so even Rhode Island is easy to tap. First the names are shown, then you find the states without them, then you name the state that is flashing. Then on to the Southeast, Midwest, Southwest and West, including Alaska and Hawaii.
All 50 States mixes the whole country together: find states anywhere, learn the state capitals (Sacramento, Austin, Albany…), find famous places like the Grand Canyon and Mount Rushmore, and match nicknames like the Lone Star State. The 50-State Challenge times you finding every state.
Every state you find is coloured in on your own map, until the whole country is filled in. The state shapes come from US Census Bureau maps. Your progress is saved on this device.
