About Star Tunnel 3D
Star Tunnel 3D is a flying game made for red-green 3D glasses. Your ship zooms down a tunnel in space: slide your finger anywhere and the ship moves the same way, so your finger never covers it (on a computer, use the arrow keys or W A S D). Fly through the rings, grab the gems and dodge the rocks. Every bump costs a heart. No glasses? Tap "No" at the start and it plays in full colour.
With the glasses on, the game draws the tunnel twice, once in red and once in green, from two cameras a little apart like your two eyes. Each lens hides one picture, so each eye gets its own view and your brain joins them into 3D: far rings sit deep inside the screen and rocks you fly past pop out towards you. The How 3D works page explains stereo vision with a thumb experiment you can try. A setup screen has a test picture, a depth slider and brightness sliders so the 3D looks clean on your screen and glasses.
There are 15 levels in 3 worlds: the Star Tunnel, the Asteroid Belt with drifting rocks, and the Space Station with walls to fly through and spinning bars. Fly through 7 out of 10 rings for two stars and 9 out of 10 for three. Gems buy new ships (Saucer, Jet, Star Rider and Comet), extra hearts and a gem magnet, and level 10 opens Endless mode. A robot pilot flew every level to check that the safe path is never too fast to follow and that rocks never block it.
