About Sky Catch 3D
Sky Catch 3D is a gentle catching game for young children. Stars fall from the sky onto a field, and each one has a shadow on the grass that grows as it comes down, so kids learn to judge where something will land. Touch the grass and the basket runs to your finger; keep your finger down to steer it.
There are three kinds of level. Star levels: catch the stars and keep away from the grey rocks. Heart levels: catch the hearts but not the moons. Number levels: catch the balloons in counting order, 1, 2, 3, up to 15, with the next number shown at the top. Catching the wrong number does no harm, so it is a calm way to practise counting.
With red-green 3D glasses the field is drawn twice, from two eyes a little apart, so the stars really hang in the air in front of the screen; without glasses it plays in bright colour. Twelve levels in three worlds (Sunny Meadow, Seaside and Moon Garden), and coins buy new catchers (a bucket, a flower pot, a rocket cup and a rainbow bowl) and upgrades. A robot player checks that every star can be reached in time.
