About Rocket Tower 3D
Rocket Tower 3D is a race board game played on a tower that spirals up into the sky. Each player has two rockets on the launch pad. Roll the dice, then choose which rocket flies: stop on a green spring to bounce straight up a floor, an orange chute slides you down one, and a gold star gives you another roll. Stop on a square where the other player has a rocket and you bump it down a floor.
Having two rockets makes every roll a small decision, which is where the maths comes in: is it better to grab a spring, bump the other player, or move a rocket out of bumping range? Six towers get taller, from 30 to 60 squares, against robots from Pip, who picks at random, to Max, who thinks about every roll you could get next. Win by a lot for three stars, and stars unlock new rocket colours. Two players can also race on one phone or tablet.
With red-green, red-blue or red-cyan 3D glasses, the near side of the spiral comes out of the screen and the far side sinks into it, and the camera follows your rockets as they climb; it plays in colour without them. A checking script plays thousands of robot games on every tower to make sure the layouts are fair, every game ends and each harder robot beats the easier ones.
