About Music Keys
Music Keys has ten coloured piano keys, from middle C up to high E. Coloured notes fall down towards the keys: press the key of the same colour when its note reaches the line. In Learn mode the song waits for you, so you can find each key at your own speed. In Play mode the song keeps the beat, and long notes are long bars.
There are 11 well-known tunes, from Hot Cross Buns and Mary Had a Little Lamb to Ode to Joy, Frère Jacques and Jingle Bells. Finish a song in Learn mode to open its Play mode and the next song. Keys can show letter names (C D E), Do Re Mi, or nothing at all.
The Note Reader teaches the treble staff: a note appears and you press the key with its name, starting with just C, D and E. Stars unlock new instruments: xylophone, music box, flute, robot and a singing kitty. Free play lets you make up your own tunes.
