About Logic Detective
Logic Detective is a set of logic grid puzzles, the kind of brain teaser often called an Einstein puzzle. In each case a few friends each have one pet, one snack, one sport, one colour or one dream job, and no two of them share. Read the clues and mark the grid: a cross for "no" and a tick for "yes". When a row has only one square left, that must be the answer.
Easy cases can be solved one clue at a time. Medium cases add bigger grids and either-or clues, and hard cases have five people, three lists and clues that only work together, such as "the dog owner is exactly one year older than the one in red". A computer checked every case to make sure it has exactly one answer and that every clue is needed.
Tap a clue to cross it off when you have used it, and turn on auto-cross to fill in the crosses after each tick. Check shows any wrong marks and Hint gives one right answer, but each one you use costs a star. Stars move you up from Trainee to Master Detective and unlock new notebooks, and a half-finished case is saved for later.
