About Light Painter 3D
Light Painter 3D lets children draw in the air. Pick a depth, near (out of the screen), middle or far (deep inside), and draw glowing lines with a finger; a see-through frame shows where you are drawing. Then tap Turn and drag to spin the drawing round: lines that looked joined up from the front turn out to be far apart. Wiggle rocks the picture gently so the depth shows even without glasses.
Eight challenges ask you to trace dotted pictures where each part sits at its own depth: a star in front of a moon, a house with a tree behind it, a snowman stacked through the screen, a rainbow with each band at a different depth. Cover the dots at the right depth for three stars, and each finished challenge unlocks a new colour, up to a rainbow brush and a sparkle brush. Free drawings can be saved to a gallery of twelve.
With red-green, red-blue or red-cyan 3D glasses the lines float in front of you and behind the screen; it works in colour without glasses too. A checking script makes sure careful tracing wins three stars, while drawing everything at one depth or scribbling all over does not.
