About Laser Lines
Laser Lines is a graphing game. The screen is a coordinate grid, and your laser fires along a straight line. You choose the line by setting its equation: the slope m, which says how far the line climbs for each step to the right, and b, where it crosses the up-and-down axis. Press FIRE and the beam has to pass through every crystal without touching a rock.
It starts gently. World 1 is plotting points like (3, -2) on the grid. Then come flat lines (y = 3) and standing lines (x = -2), lines through the centre (y = 2x, y = x/2, y = -3x), and full equations like y = -2x + 3. In "Read the line" you copy a dotted line by working out its slope and where it crosses. The last world is laser mazes, where many lines go through the crystal but only one gets past every rock.
Night missions hide the laser until you fire, so you have to work the answer out first. A miss or a hint costs a star, and stars unlock new worlds and laser colours, up to a rainbow beam. A robot checked every level: each one has exactly one line that works, and the rocks in the mazes are placed so that every wrong line clearly hits one.
