About I Doubt It!
I Doubt It! is the classic bluffing card game, played against robot friends. All the cards are dealt out and the goal is to get rid of yours first. Players take turns going up the ranks, Aces then 2s then 3s up to Kings and round again, putting one to four cards face down and saying they are the rank needed. If you don't have that rank, you have to fib.
After every play anyone can shout I doubt it! The cards are turned over: if any of them was a fib, the fibber takes the whole pile, but if they were all true, the doubter takes it. The smart way to catch fibs is to count: if you hold three 7s and someone says they put down two 7s, that makes five, and a deck only has four. On the first tables the game points this out for you.
Each robot friend plays differently: careful Tilly, bold Bo, sneaky Sam who sneaks extra cards in, suspicious Sue, Max and Zoe who remember cards they have seen, and Leo the champion. Win a table for three stars, and stars unlock new card backs. It builds memory, counting, and reading other players.
