About Go Fish
Go Fish is one of the first card games children learn. Everyone gets seven cards (five each with four players) and the rest go in the pond. On your turn you ask a friend for a kind of card you already hold. If they have any, they hand them all over and you go again. If not, they say Go fish and you take a card from the pond, and if it is the one you asked for you go again too.
Collect all four cards of a kind to make a book, and whoever has the most books at the end wins. The animal deck uses pictures instead of letters and numbers, so even children who cannot read yet can play, and the classic deck uses Ace to King. Smart friends remember what everyone asks for, so listening carefully is a big part of winning.
Every book you make puts a new fish in your aquarium, and winning games unlocks new card backs. The rules were checked by a robot that played twelve thousand games, making sure every card is always somewhere and every game ends with all thirteen books.
