About Gate Builder
Gate Builder is a puzzle game about logic gates, the tiny switches that every computer chip is made of. Switches on the left send signals that are on (1) or off (0). Choose a gate for each empty slot and the signals flow through the wires to the lamps. Your job is to make each lamp light at exactly the right times, like only when both doors are open, or when an odd number of switches are on.
A live truth table shows every way the switches can be set, what the lamp should do and what your circuit does, with a tick for every row you have right. Flip the switches yourself to test it. The levels start with AND and OR, then add NOT, XOR, NAND and NOR, and show how NAND gates alone can build all the others, which is how many real chips are made.
The last world has real projects: a burglar alarm, a crossing light, a vote counter for three judges, and a full adder that adds binary numbers like a computer does. A robot tried every possible choice of gates in every level to make sure each one can be solved. Hints show one correct gate but cost a star, and stars unlock new wire colours.
