HOW TO PLAY
Four players in two teams. Your partner sits across from you. Everyone gets 13 cards.
Bidding: each player bids how many of the 13 tricks their team will win (7 to 13), or passes. Each bid must be higher than the last. The highest bidder chooses the tarneeb (trump) suit and leads the first trick.
Playing: everyone plays one card. You must follow the suit that was led if you can. If you can't, you may play a trump or any other card.
The highest trump wins the trick. If no trump was played, the highest card of the suit led wins. The winner leads next. Aces are high.
Scoring: if the bidding team wins at least its bid, it scores the tricks it won. If not, it loses the bid, and the other team scores the tricks they won. Winning all 13 tricks scores 16, or 26 if you bid 13.
