Each turn is one year. You get some money to invest.
Tap the ships (companies and funds) you want to buy. Your money is split evenly between the ones you pick. Then press Sail.
The year happens: the weather, the whole market, and surprises for single companies. Every ship's value goes up or down.
A ship that sinks is gone, along with the money in it! That is why captains spread money across many ships.
The wobble chip shows your biggest one-year drop. Some voyages want a calm ride as well as a full treasure chest.
Reach the treasure goal for ⭐, then more for ⭐⭐ and ⭐⭐⭐. At the end, a chart shows how other captains would have done.
