One of the oldest board games in the world. Roll the dice, race your checkers home, and be the first to bear them all off!
HOW TO PLAY
You are white. Your checkers move around the board towards your home in the bottom-right corner. Red moves the other way, towards the top-right.
Roll two dice. Each die moves one checker that many points. You can move one checker twice. A double lets you move four times!
You can land on an empty point, on your own checkers, or on a point with just one enemy checker. Two or more enemy checkers block the point.
Landing on a single enemy checker (a blot) hits it: it goes to the bar in the middle and must start again.
If you have a checker on the bar, you must bring it back in first.
When all your checkers are home, you can bear them off. The first player to bear off all 15 wins. Win before your opponent bears any off and it is a gammon!
You must use both dice if you can (or the bigger one if only one can be used).
