About Dama
Dama is the draughts (checkers) game played across Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, Kuwait and much of the Middle East. Unlike the checkers most people know, the pieces move straight: one square forward or sideways, never diagonally and never backwards.
Capture by jumping straight over an enemy piece. Capturing is a must, and you must choose the move that takes the most pieces, so long chains of jumps are common. Reach the far side to crown your piece as a dama: it moves any distance forward, backward or sideways, and can capture from far away.
Play the computer on easy, medium or hard, or a friend on the same device. Pieces that must capture glow red, and Undo takes a move back. Your wins against the computer are saved on this device.
