About Code Cracker
Code Cracker is a spy game about real secret codes. Each mission is a coded message: every grey symbol stands for one real letter, and the same symbol always means the same letter. Tap a symbol and every copy of it lights up, then tap the letter you think it is and it fills in everywhere. When the message makes sense, press Check.
There are 6 chapters of 5 missions. First the Caesar shift, which Julius Caesar used, with a cipher wheel to turn. Then the shift is kept secret and you turn the wheel until the words make sense. Then the Atbash mirror code (A is Z), a number code (A is 1), and Morse code with dots, dashes and real beeps you can listen to. The last chapter is letter swap, where codebreakers count which letters appear most, because E, T and A are the most common in English.
A robot checked every mission: each code turns back into the message, an unknown shift only makes sense one way, and each letter-swap message has only one answer once the blue letters are given. Getting it right first time earns three stars, while wrong checks and hints cost a star. Stars raise your rank from Recruit to Spymaster, and after chapter 1 you can make your own codes to send to friends.
