About Checkout Champ
Checkout Champ puts you behind a real-looking cash register. Tap each item on the belt to scan it with a beep, press TOTAL, take the customer's money and count their change out of the cash drawer. Every sale prints a receipt.
The shifts get harder as you go. Some items have no barcode, so you type the price on the keypad, the way real cashiers do (1, 2, 5 for 1.25). Then the change screen breaks, and you work out the change yourself. On Deal Day there are bunches of items to count and money-off coupons. Finish everything to unlock Rush Hour.
Stars move you up from Trainee to Checkout Champ, and each rank unlocks a new register colour. Choose dollars, pounds or euros in the Money menu. Your progress is saved on this device.
