About Carrom
Carrom is a table game where you flick a heavy disc, the striker, to knock lighter coins into the four corner pockets. You have the white coins and shoot from the bottom line; your opponent has the black coins and shoots from the top. Slide the striker along your line, then pull back on the board like a slingshot and let go. You must shoot forwards, away from your own line.
Pocket one of your own coins and you shoot again, but pocketing your opponent's coins helps them. The red queen is worth 3 extra points: you may pocket her only after one of your own coins, and you must cover her by pocketing another of your coins on the same or the next shot. If the striker falls in a pocket, one of your coins goes back to the middle.
The coins slide, bounce off the cushions and knock into each other with real physics, so it is great for learning about angles and force. Play the computer (easy or smart) or a friend on the same device, and win to unlock new boards.
