About Card Climb 3D
Card Climb 3D is a higher-or-lower card game on a staircase that climbs into the screen. You stand on a face-up card; the next step hides a card from the same 52-card deck. Guess whether it will be higher or lower, then watch it flip. The same number is always safe. A right guess climbs a step and earns a chip; a wrong guess costs a heart, but you keep climbing. Reach the top with a heart left to win.
The real game is about chances. The odds counter shows how many of the cards still in the deck would make each guess right, for example '29 of 48 cards', so children learn that on a 2 'higher' is a great bet while on a 7 it is close to 50-50, and that cards already seen change the odds. From the third climb you can choose your question on every step: higher or lower, red or black, or odd or even, and the skill is picking the one with the most cards on your side. Stars come from losing few hearts; chips buy new card backs.
With red-green, red-blue or red-cyan 3D glasses the staircase climbs away from you and the next cards wait above; it plays in colour without them. A checking script plays 20,000 climbs of each level and makes sure that using the odds wins far more often than guessing at random.
