About Block Puzzle Quest
Block Puzzle Quest is a block placing puzzle. Drag one of your three shapes onto the 8 by 8 board. When a whole row or a whole column is full it clears away, and clearing several lines at once, or clearing again and again in a row, gives a combo bonus. Shapes cannot be turned, so the trick is to keep room for whatever comes next.
In the 30 Gem Quests some squares hold gems. Clear the row or column a gem sits in to collect it, and collect every gem to win. Early quests give small shapes only, and later ones have more rubble and more gems. Every quest was played by a computer robot to check that it can be won, and to set the number of shapes for three stars.
Classic is the endless game: score as much as you can before no shape fits, and Easy Classic gives small shapes only. Quest stars unlock six colour themes and classic scores unlock five block styles, from jelly to neon. Once per game you can swap your shapes if you are stuck.
